On here the noo, Trying to get over such a bad period and not had much thoughts of football.
Hopefully can get back to some normality and maybe this year will be an improvement.

Not dwelling is part of the problem HC. Babs is beating herself up thinking she should be over it by now, and moving on. It was her TWIN sister that she lost so if tears come now and again it's only to be expected.

There is no 'should get to stage x after this amount of time', people react to these things in their own individual ways. Some people take different lengths of time to experience the stages of loss that they go through. There's nothing to feel guilty for about her reaction.

Thanks for your good wishes guys. Babs will get over it in her own good time and has been keeping busy with doing up next door and getting ready for the move on Sat.
Mum lived next door, but is now in care due to being 96 and suffering dementia. so we have been doing up her house since Oct! and moving in ready to sell our house for her care. Next door is a 3 apartment with a conservatory, and looks out over a small grass area rather than across the street to another house.
Been a lot of work ,new kitchen and bathroom and redecorating the dining room ,living room and front bedroom, the back room can wait!

Is Babs' mum upset, or does the dementia "cushion" her from it to an extent? There aren't many positives from that horrible disease, but that's arguably one of them.
