UEFA League of Nations

UEFA League of Nations

Anyone else think this is a shite idea?
It may provide an extra way for smaller teams to qualify, and guarantee someone like san marino a place in 2020 tournament, but as it replaces friendlies how many lower tier countries are now going to lose out on money with no friendlies against 'bigger' teams?
Also, it kind of suggests that unless we qualify for a world cup, we'll never play a non-European country again.

from personal pt of view it's good - plenty cities/countries to visit if I fancy it - but take ur point about the smaller sides' loss of friendlies. That could be a big thing for them.

Teams moaning about fixtures already. The only way this would work is summer football.

We got a group of three.
Israel and Albania.
Who needs friendlies against Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica?
