C. Gordon was mince and we almost lost a goal but Tierny ( sp ) saved it on the line. He was also responsible for their two goals. His other faults were trying to pass the ball out to the defense instead of humping it into the stand with seconds to go.
Then we come to the thug Brown and his horrendous challenge three minutes in ( the one Strachan claimed is how Scotland played in the past with get intae thum football ) ( and he's the manager FFS )
I gave up watching after the first half and can't find an answer as to why I watch that much in the first place.
Never going to qualify and Strachan will dine out on this result and never go.

Thought we did ok. Football on both sides wouldn't make a purist smile but then - Scotland & england?... to be expected. Hoped we had it won but suspected not with still 5-6 mins to play. Both their goals v avoidable but I suppose that's why we're Scotland and play at our level rather than at say Italy or Germany's.

I can still hear myself screaming "PLAY IT LEFT...PLAY IT FUCKIN LEFT" as we broke away at 2-1. As soon as Armstrong gave the ball away, I knew

Same thing - I just assumed he'd play it left so didn't add to the thousands telling him to.
