Hibs in Europe

Hibs in Europe

Oh well can't be helped, we did try!
Think they will struggle with all the loan players returning to parent clubs and McGeoch and McGinn gone.

Fair play to them, they had a good season.

Europe isn't the great "prize" it once was now, sadly. Well unless you've got several billion quid behind you.

Jim, is that the wee green eyed monster in you coming out?

Hibs have had a great season. To come from the Championship after a few seasons and be in contention for second place is pretty good in most people's eyes.

Hearts just made top six, in case you need reminded.

As for players leaving, I'm used to that. Any non OF fan is.

However, it makes a real difference having a manager at the helm who is able to attract decent players (albeit just on loan) and bring the best out of them, don't you think? ;)

Being in Europe feels great, and for some of the diehards able to travel to a European away fixture, it's an exciting prospect.

For me however, Europe is a wee bit of a distraction to us consolidating our position this season.

It's been a long time coming and it feels great. 8-)

Yes it's been a good season and I have said so on other forums. However as Forrest pointed out OUR first season back up we did well and could have done so much better this season, and you all know the reason why we didn't. However I think with the distraction of Europe and players returning to parent clubs Hibs will be scraping top six if they are lucky.

You think they'll still be in Europe come August?

You can't expect HC to go trawling other forums for your comments about Hibs doing well!

No Forrest I don't. I was simply pointing out I have said they did well. Can't even get to wind up HC without interference
