If you are referring to the minor spat with Trotski that was over long ago and we are both fine with it. Besides it was only interweb crap.

Tbh I was only joking! :D

Might make it more accessible to others - if Jnet postings (assuming there are many :) ) pop up in front of people they might get interested in something or other in it. Jnet activity doesn't pop up in front of anyone unless they come looking.

You've suggested that before.

Understand what you're saying about people having to 'come looking', however, as a Jambo, surely you must know other Jambos you could spread the word to ?

The other Jambos I know who are inclined to post are all using other message boards HC. By and large they will know about Jnet already. Afraid I really don't have a body of people who would come in here, tho if I meet some I would of course pass it on.

It's self perpetuating really, isn't it ?

All about habit to a certain extent.

However, more members, more posts. But to attract new members, existing posters need to make the effort to post more often.

Jnet is a bit like the old Masshibsteria website; the thinking man's forum, whereas Kickback attracts or at least allows a certain type of poster that might not be tolerated elsewhere.

Mmmmmmmm.

Thought struck me later - can we get new members while jnet runs on here? Don't they have to be ok'd, and would that be by Briza who doesn't look at it any more? Or am ah a meringue with the need to ok applicants.

Just registered with a different name. (NewPoster).

Registered no bother but can't post. Yet, doesn't say anything about needing to be 'approved by admin/moderator.

Mmmmm, will try and post later in case there's some sort of delay.
