Scotland v Hungary

Pretty even so far. Two fairly poor sides on show.

Jack Hendry starts. Hendry hasn’t represented Scotland at any other level but plays a couple of games for Celtic and gets a start for the full side :x

I don’t know why I still let this annoy me.

Good goal by Matt Phillips.

We’re actually playing quite well.

A good win and decent performance.

Certainly some positives to take from that game.

Didn't get to watch it, in Oban and it wasn't on in the restaurants/bars for some reason. But glad to have had a good performance.
Planning on not renewing my Travel Club membership for the first time in decades so would give up on away games. Thinking instead of doing 'reverse fixtures', ie going to the away country when they're playing in Scotland - so I'd get to visit the new places I wouldn't otherwise have gone to, but at a time when the flights are cheaper cos not all been snapped up and the accommodation is available and is cheaper...and watch the game in a local bar over there. Wherever 'there' is. Naff idea?

Never watched it but disgusted at the very poor performance!

TBF I started to watch, but it was disgusting that paid professional players can't pass a ball 10 yards.

No confidence McLeish can do any better than the garbage we have had in the past. As for him picking McGregeor in goals, words fail me.( that's a first! )
What we need is a manager that will pick and play the young guys, even if this means we lose friendlies. We need to build a team for the future and Mulgrew and co. are not it.

Nice to know you never leave Positiveland Jim

Isn't that exactly what Berti Vogts did, pick youngsters. He eventually got pilloried for it. (Tho imo that was for not settling on a decent side rather than for setting out on the lots-of-kids in lots-of-friendlies path)
